Quenching Refreshing Lemon Tea

Agave, Ginger, Organic lemon / Lime, Rickshaw + Ceylon + Lipton Tea blend. 
 
Story:
In Hong Kong style cafe (cha chaan teng 茶餐廳), not only the food is special, the beverages are also very unique. Almost everyone who dines there would get a drink. Other than the famous milk tea, there are also chocolate, yin yeung (coffee and tea), Ovaltine (malted dairy drink), iced red bean drink and lemon tea.  This tea is not difficutl to make however is something very very different compare to lemon tea from UK or North America nor Singapore.  This is a very childhood memory which all mom know how to make them at home.  The special is they are mixing different strong ceylong tea and black tea together , every cafe in HK have their own tea blend recipes which nobody's knows their own recipes.  If you wanna know more you can contact Joyce directly to ask her how to homemade it at home.  
 
Another reason why it is so common in HK and why they taste are strong than any lemon tea in the world, it is because many mother make it to help their children to detox & help digestivce,  It is the best quenching refreshing cold drinkg to goes with many versatile food.    
 
Hong Kong Style Iced Lemon Tea, or  凍檸茶.  You can order this refreshing drink at almost all local Hong Kong style diners, i.e. cha chaan tengs 茶餐廳.  I love this deliciously icy drink enough to miss it terribly when I'm away from Hong Kong.  There's really nothing quite like walking into a cha chaan teng, feeling the blast of ice cold air conditioning, folding yourself into one of the tiny booths and slowly drinking up a Hong Kong Style Iced Lemon Tea.  The only thing that I don't like is that I know that they probably use high fructose corn syrup for sweetening the tea.  Recently as it's been getting hotter and hotter in Hong Kong as the days swing into the long summer, we have been longing for something cool and refreshing to drink at home.  So we thought, why not try to make our favorite Hong Kong Style Iced Lemon Tea at home?
